Portland Old-Time Gathering, 2009
Portland Old-Time Gathering, http://www.bubbaguitar.com/festival/
Greg Clarke and Lauren have their usual fun on stage.

An after hours party...
I think it's about time all the banjo/fiddle players should come out of the closet.

Two Upcoming Concerts (see calendar for details)
Many of you have asked to know specifically about concert venues where I'll be playing.
• Cannon Beach, Feb. 28, Historic Society
• Portland, Mar. 7, Special guest, Zoe Carpenter. Main Library, at the top of the grand stairway! Unbelievable sound and this is a great chance to enjoy the fullness of my lovely instruments and our harmony singing.
• Portland, Mar. 7, Main Library, at the top of the grand stairway! Unbelievable sound.
• Portland, Mar 17, TENTATIVE, House concert with Kate and Steve, Hardly Strickly Irish

Terry Robb/Lauren Sheehan, Acoustic Blues
We have a demo getting pressed! Yes, it's true, a recording, a demo for presenters, is done. Dennis Carter, at Falcon Recording Studio in Portland, Or, and Terry engineered it and it was a fun and easy time in the studio. Falcon Recording Studios a great place in town and I sure recommend checking it out. We are both pleased with how it turned out.
Look for us this spring at the Muddy Rudder in April, and in concert at the Hawthorne Theater lounge in May. See my calendar for info: http://www.sonicbids.com/LaurenSheehan

Dream Seamstress
new album by Corona Hats and the Spaceangels
If any of you have noticed the many beautiful velvet caps and summer bonnets of mine, you have peeked into the genius of one of a kind, Corona. Few of you know that she is also a very original songwriter, able to reveal her depths of zaniness and cosmic musings, with full enjoyment of word play. And do I ever mean play! Anyway, last week I had the pleasure of helping her produce a full length CD of mostly her songs, all reminiscent of the best of the Holy Modal Rounders and Micheal Hurley. Here is a photo of us outside of Big Red Studio, in Corbett Oregon, where we recorded with the ever impressive engineer, Billy Oskay. How can a man’s ears keep growing? Corona expects to release this in a few months and I'll be sure to help promote it, the artists involved and her release parties. Tom D’Antoni mentions it in his blog http://www.tomsmusicnews.blogspot.com
