I’m excited and have good news to share about two things. The first is that next week we will officially be half way between winter solstice and spring equinox. The second is to tell you about and officially launch a new duo project called “Wichita”. Pete Krebs is a Portland legend, a fabulous upbeat musician, singer, guitarist, band leader, recording artist, composer and fun entertainer. After playing together regularly for a couple years, we decided to form a working folk duo and our first concert is around the corner. We have a warm sound and good time together which we hope will lift your spirits and tickle your soul. Here is our elevator pitch.
“Wichita plays vintage Americana music with an uptown and cool vibe:old country and swing songs for dancing and crying, early jazz and blues, ballads, original, contemporary and hippie folk."
